SMS Consent & Policy

Kona Cleaning Services uses text messaging only to support the home-cleaning service you book with us — never for marketing blasts, never for third-party offers. This page explains exactly when and how we'll text you, and how to opt out at any time.

1. What this SMS program is

This is a transactional SMS program operated by Kona Cleaning Services, a sole-operator residential cleaning business located in Ocala, FL. Texts come from a Twilio-provisioned business phone number and are sent exclusively in connection with appointments you book with us.

2. How you opt in

When you enter your mobile phone number during the booking flow onhttps://YOUR-VERCEL-URL.vercel.appand agree to our service policies (the 25% same-day cancellation fee and free 48-hour cancellation window), you are providing express written consent to receive transactional text messages from Kona Cleaning Servicesrelated to that specific booking. Phone number entry alongside the policy agreement constitutes your opt-in.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with any third party for marketing purposes. The phone number you provide is used solely by Kona (the cleaner-operator) and our messaging provider (Twilio) to deliver service-related communications.

3. Messages you may receive

Expect approximately 1–4 messages per booking, all transactional:

  • Booking confirmation when you reserve a clean.
  • Reminder the morning of your scheduled appointment with an arrival window.
  • Notice if Kona needs to reschedule, run late, or any service update.
  • A short follow-up after the clean (only if you opt in via the dashboard).
  • Reply to any direct text you send Kona at 352-820-9707.

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your wireless carrier. Kona Cleaning Services does not charge you any additional fees for sending or receiving SMS.

4. Opting out — STOP at any time

You can opt out at any moment by replying with any of the following keywords to any text we send:

After you opt out, you'll receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS from this program. If you opt out, scheduling and updates will continue by email and phone instead. To resume SMS later, reply START or UNSTOP, or text Kona directly at352-820-9707.

6. Privacy & data sharing

Phone numbers collected for SMS purposes are stored only as long as needed to operate your bookings. They are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. The only sub-processor that handles your number is Twilio, our SMS delivery infrastructure provider, governed by their privacy policy at twilio.com/legal/privacy. Twilio acts as our messaging carrier and does not use your number for any independent purpose.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever materially change how we use SMS — for example, if we begin sending an opt-in promotional newsletter — we'll notify you by email or SMS at least seven days in advance and give you a clear way to opt out of the new communications without affecting the transactional messages tied to your bookings.
